Part 1 (Interview)
- Do you like listening to music?
- What kind of music do you enjoy most?
- When do you usually listen to music?
- Did you listen to a lot of music when you were a child?
- Have your tastes in music changed over time?
- Do you prefer listening to live music or recorded music?
- Have you ever been to a live concert?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a line (or a few words) that you remember from a poem or song. You should say:
- what it is
- which song or poem it is from
- how you knew it
and explain how you feel about it
Part 3 (Discussion)
- What can people learn from songs or poems?
- Do you think it is easier for children to learn a song or poem than adults? Why?
- Do you think children enjoy the rhythm of songs or poems? Why?
- Are you good at memorising things?
- How can memorising songs or poems benefit students?
- Why do some people find it difficult to memorise information?
