IELTS Speaking Test
Part 1 (Interview)
- Where do you live?
- What do you like most about living there?
- Has your area changed much in recent years?
- Do you think those changes have been positive or negative?
- When something breaks at home, do you try to fix it or replace it?
- Have you ever repaired something successfully?
- Do you think people repair things less nowadays than in the past?
Part 2 (Cue Card)
Describe a time when someone gave you wrong information and you later discovered it was not true. You should say:
- what the information was
- who gave it to you
- how you found out it was incorrect
and explain how you felt about the situation.
Part 3 (Discussion)
- Where do people usually look for information nowadays?
- How can you tell whether information is reliable?
- How much can we trust news found online?
- What kinds of jobs require information to be carefully checked?
- Why do some people believe false information easily?
- How can schools help students become more critical of the information they read?
